The ZEISS Otus lenses kicked up a bit of a stir for being so optically close to ZEISS’s very high end Supreme lenses. These images have a real snap to the image, with incredibly smooth backgrounds. Renowned for their exceptional image contrast, thanks to their ability to correct lateral chromatic aberration. This means that even in challenging situations, such as night photography, the lenses are able to capture images with absolute perfection. Additionally, the aspherical lens design ensures consistent performance throughout the entire focusing range, resulting in sharpness even at the periphery of the image. The lenses are also designed to minimise distortion and chromatic aberrations, resulting in virtually distortion-free optics and no colour fringing. Our set comes with the CVP cinemod, so smooth Iris adjustment, Zeiss gears and standardised 95mm fronts. Focus pullers be aware these are Nikon focusing.
