Not only is the Sony 70-200mm lens capable of producing stunning images, it also offers excellent close-up performance with a minimum focus distance of 0.4 metres (1.32ft) at 70mm and 0.82 metres (2.69ft) at 200mm. The maximum magnification of 0.3x and deep bokeh at F2.8 add to its expressive close-up capabilities. With our optional 2x high-performance teleconverter, the lens can extend its focal length up to 400mm (600mm on an APS-C body) while maintaining G Master quality. Designed for refined movie imagery, the SEL70200GM also offers fast and precise autofocus, versatile manual movie control, and a lightweight design for superior handling.
