The FX9 and it’s smaller sibling the FX6 have become THE default production cameras all over the world, for everything from live and scripted TV, documentaries, commercials, short films and music promos. The Sony FX9 is a highly advanced camera with a Full-Frame 17:9 sensor, with a dual base ISO of 800 & 4000 making it great in on the fly scenarios. Setting it apart from the FX6, the FX9 has a native S35 crop mode in 4K, allowing the use of Super 35 lenses without the loss of any image quality. With Sony’s outstanding variable ND system, exposure can be smoothly adjusted during shooting. The camera also has advanced autofocus capabilities, including Face Priority AF, Face Only AF, and Face Registration. Designed with excellent sound recording in mind, the camera features 4-channel audio control. FX9 is also a great B camera to our higher end VENICE, this camera can really do it all!
